RIona - 1 - WIPNo one who saw the girl playing with the other boys and girls would have given too much thought about her. They might have noticed that she seemed to be a natural leader, might even think that it was a shame that she had not been born a boy. Others might smile to themselves and think that she would be a perfect wife for a mayor, so that her skills would not go to waste, but then they would become involved in some adult matter or another and not give much more thought to the young woman.
For Riona’s part, she knew that she was different, but she could not quite explain it, nor did she spend much time in RIona - 1 - WIP

Riona - PrologueThe sky was grey. Boring grey. No forebodingly dark sky. No lightning arching across the sky. Nor was it a bright cloudless day promising endless possibility. Instead it was grey. The kind of grey that encourages naps and curling up beside a fire. A grey that encouraged laziness and promoted a feeling of peacefulness.
There was a wind, but it was a calm wind that just barely moved the limbs of trees, causing them to gently stray rather than dancing in the wind. It did little to stir the imagination of a child.

Just a Brief Note

Drinking: Water

I know, slacking on the writing. Semester is working me over pretty well.

This is mainly for Artheeria (though everyone else can know it too) since I'm assuming Gaus told you last night I was in sudden pain.

Its a kidney stone as I suspected. I went to the ER, left here around 11, got home around 6.

Taking the day off from life, but might be on tonight, we'll see.

And yes, that might (MIGHT) mean I'll be around tomorrow night. I want to go to the thing, but if I cannot, I'm not going to push myself.

I'm fine, but cause I'm on meds and sleeping and drinking water. But I am fine. It has not passed yet, but I'm ok right now.
